Situated just outside of Basel city limits, this assemblage of four-story apartment buildings sits comfortably adjacent the local park. The neighborhood is highly sought after, and this was taken into account when designing the interior units. Each building had a variety of unit types, which allows different generations and age groups to occupy the same building and site, thus maintaining an equitable neighborhood block. Floor plans are not identical, and neither are the window orientations. This provided unique lighting and views for every unit.
We worked on this project during the construction phase, material selection, bathroom design, and finessing the record and publication drawings at completion.
